Term 2 2014 Reflection

Term 2 is nearly up and I have written something to show you what I have enjoyed, what I have achieved and what I hope to achieve in the terms ahead. This term hasn’t been the easiest term and the most exciting but I think I got through it alright.

My highlights for this term would have to be performing at the Waipuna Lodge with the Kapa Haka group. It was quite recent so it was a good way to end the term for me. Another highlight would have to be the dodgeball tournament that Class 3 organised. I have really got into the sport now and I really enjoyed played against the other classes. I think that it was a good way to create unity in our senior school by getting to know each other better.

I think the thing that I have enjoyed the least about this term is getting used to the senior school ways. Even though I have been in here for a term already, the real work started this term, and for me it is quite challenging. Next term, I hope to do more movie making and more I.T work because this term, I haven’t done as much as I would like to.

This term wasn’t one of my best terms at school, I think that I could have done much better if I focused a bit more. In this time, I have got closer to my friends and my friendships are much stronger which is great. I think that next term, I should sometimes sit away from my friends to catch up with my work so that I will have good friendships and good work at the same time.

Next term I am looking forward to working harder in all my subjects. For maths, I would like to learn more about proportion, percentages, ratios and also algebra. Reading and Writing is different, I think that if I just worked a bit harder then I would improve so much more. I look forward to the challenges and adventures ahead as a Yr 7 at Pt England School!
